The Greene County Republicans will hold their monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Simpkins Family Buffet, 403 West Kingshighway in Paragould.

An optional Dutch dinner and social time will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend.

The Greene County Republicans will hold their monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Simpkins Family Buffet, 1606 West Kingshighway in Paragould.  

The guest speaker will be Andrew Stricklin, East Arkansas Regional District Chairman of the First Congressional District Republican Party of Arkansas.

An optional Dutch treat dinner and social time will begin before the meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Sen. Pryor to hold first-ever Facebook town hall

 

U.S. Senator Mark Pryor will hold his first-ever Facebook Town Hall on Thursday, March 7, to reach out to Arkansans about their legislative priorities for 2013.

Constituents can submit and view questions on Pryor’s website and Facebook.

Questions may also be submitted to facebooktownhall@pryor.senate.gov.

Gov. Huckabee to speak at Lincoln Day Dinner

 

The 2013 Greene County Lincoln Day Dinner will be held this Saturday, March 2, at the Paragould Community Center, 3404 Linwood Dr.  This year’s keynote speaker will be former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.

The evening will begin with a VIP private reception from 5 until 6 p.m. followed by the dinner and program.  There will also be a unique memorabilia and collectibles silent auction from 5 until 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $35 per person, $250 for tables of 8.

Paragould teen chosen U.S. Senate youth delegate

Paragould teen chosen U.S. Senate youth delegate

 

John Williams of Paragould has been selected as one of Arkansas’s two delegates to the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP).

Williams attends Greene County Tech High School and serves as State 4-H ambassador.  He also serves on the Greene County Youth Leadership Board, Citizenship Washington Focus, Model UN and was a delegate to Arkansas Boys State.  In addition, he is a Teen Leaders Club President, FFA Secretary and a member of the Young Republicans Club and National Honor Society.
