Paragould PD to offer concealed weapon class | News

The Paragould Police Department will hold a concealed handgun class on Saturday, August 18, at 8 a.m.
Chief Todd Stovall, along with Captains Faulkner and Trout, will conduct the class.
Class participants will need to brink a black ink pen and their Arkansas driver’s license or state I.D. Firearms and ammunition must remain in vehicles during the class.
After completing the class, students will go to the firing range. A minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition is suggested; 20 rounds of fire are required for qualification. Ear and eye protection will be provided.
The cost for a concealed handgun permit is $144.25 and is valid for 5 years.
