Paragould BRTC gives the gift of life during blood drive
PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A local college is working to help
give the gift of life.
A blood drive was held at Black River Technical College in
Paragould, and school administrators said the blood drives are held regularly
because they feel it needs to be done.
"You never know when you're going to need blood,
and the whole premise behind the American Red Cross is to make sure in times of
need there is an ample supply for people that are injured or for other medical
reasons," explained
Director of Corporate and Community Education Bert Clevenger.
The blood drive took place from 10 to 3.
