Pargould Fire department battles house fire
JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Paragould fire crews were called out to a house fire Thursday night at 513 North 71/2 street.
According to Paragould Fire Chief Kevin Lange, the call came in around 9 p.m. Thursday night. Lange says two fire engines and one rescue truck was called to the scene. Fire officials say there was heavy smoke coming from the home as they approached the scene.
It appears the fire may have started in the bedroom and spread to attic. No injuries were reported.
Fire official are still investigating.
