Betty Jo Ragsdell | Families

Betty Jo Ragsdell, age 73, of Paragould, AR, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR.

She was a dedicated homemaker who spent her time and efforts for all her children and was a member of Stanford Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; daughter, Rena Weaver; parents, Clarence Aubrey and Mae Bell Bean Bomar; brothers, Wayne and Bobby Bomar; sister Shirley Robinson.

Survivors include son, Cecil "Bubba" Ragsdell, Jr. of Paragould; daughters, Gina (Keith) Crook and Tina (Scott) Smith of Paragould; brother, Gary Bomar of Atoka, TN; sisters, Louise VanHook of Searcy, AR, Sandra Everett of Vienna, VA, and Karen Price of Marion, AR; grandchildren, Jordan Crook and Hannah Weaver.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Marion Gramling and Jon Bischof officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her sons-in law , Scott Smith and Keith Crook and nephews, Mike Bomar and Bumper Price. Memorials may be made to Stanford Baptist Church.
