Round up the family for Cowboy Church ranch sorting event | Events

If you're looking for some good family fun this weekend, then saddle up the herd and head to the Higher Trails Cowboy Church, 9728 Highway 358 West in Paragould.

The church is having a benefit Ranch Sorting event at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Outreach Arena.

Watch as two-person teams round up and sort 10 cows then herd them individually from one side of the arena to another.  And they have to do it within 90 seconds.  The team that gets the most cows across in order, with the fastest time, wins.  As you can see from the video above, the action is fast and fun.

Cowboys and cowgirls are invited to bring their horses and participate.  

The price to enter is:

• Practice and Juniors (18 and under): $5  Top 5 receive awards
• Open:  $15 per person with 50% payback
• Kids 10 and under:  free with awards given to all kids
• Negative coggins are required.
