Victims awake to find burglar in their bedroom | Crime

Some Paragould residents got a rude awakening early Tuesday morning.

According to a news release from Chief Todd Stovall, they awoke to find a burglary suspect in their bedroom.

The break-in happened around 3 a.m. in the Highway 49 South area.

Chief Stovall says the Paragould Police Department “is working diligently to indentify the suspect or suspects involved in the burglary.”

He says that if you notice suspicious activity in your neighborhood, no matter the time of day, report it to the police department.

Stovall also advises residents to keep their doors and windows locked, and to make sure their garage door is down, especially before going to bed.
