Two teenage boys were arrested Friday morning after police say they damaged several vendor trailers set up at the Loose Caboose Festival.
According to an email from Chief of Police Todd Stovall, the Paragould Police Department received a tip that two teenage boys were running from the Greene County Fairgrounds.
Soon after officers arrived at the scene they found the suspects, ages 16 and 17, in a nearby woods. The boys tried to run from police but were unsuccessful, Stovall said.
During the investigation, police discovered that “multiple food trailers” had been damaged and “undisclosed items” had been stolen.
The teens were charged with theft of property, criminal mischief, fleeing, and breaking or entering.
Both suspects were turned over to juvenile authorities.
