Workshop to help those starting a new business | Business
If you’re starting a new business, then the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development Building, 319 University Loop Circle in Jonesboro, is the place to be on Tuesday, August 14.
From 1 until 3:30 p.m. the ASU Small Business and Technology Center (SBTDC) along with the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Jonesboro Association, will host a workshop for start-up businesses.
“Starting a Business in Arkansas: How to Get a New Business Started Right” will touch upon such topics as business plan keys for success; legal requirements, licenses, fees and permits required by Arkansas; how to determine the feasibility of the business idea; common pitfalls to avoid; information about financing options and more.
The cost is $30, or $20 for Chamber members. The price for ASU faculty, staff and students is $15. Registration is free to all military veterans and their families.
